You may have heard of ‘Follow Lights’ software before, but ‘Follow Lights Plus’ brings the technology to everyone, whether you are an accomplished player or an absolute beginner who hasn’t even touched a key.
If you DON'T play, or you’re very early in your musical development, simply follow the lights above the keys. As the original inventor of ‘Follow Lights’ software, Craig Knudsen, says: “The lights show you which notes to play, and if you don’t play the right note, it waits until you do!”
If you DO play, you can control the tempo of the background orchestra by strategically playing the correct notes of the melody, shown on the score which automatically appears on the central display when the song starts: you’re essentially conducting the orchestra with your right hand! Your left hand is free to add your own musical embellishments based upon the chord symbols.
Each song includes the score, chord symbols and lyrics. On Clavinova CSP and CVP pianos, the lights above the keys indicate each melody note in turn. And the guide function holds the background orchestra in place, waiting for you to play each note of the melody before continuing.
About Compatibility: Even though these files were specifically created for newer model Clavinovas (CSP-200 Series, CVP-900 Series, CVP-800 Series, & CVP-700 Series), they are also compatible with many earlier models such as CSP-100 series, CVP-600 series and earlier. However, when used with other models, some voice and effect substitutions may occur.
